SOIT Students Win Big in IEOM Monterrey 2021

School of Information Technology students won big in the 6th North American Industrial Engineering and Operations Management Conference held virtually and onsite at Monterrey, Mexico from November 3-5, 2021.
Bryelle Timothy Nisperos, Joshua Yñigo Pascual, Jerome Patrick Ramos under the supervision of Engr. Grace Lorraine Intal bagged 3rd place in the Undergraduate Student Paper Competition for their paper, "Determining Strategies for the Perfect Shade Mobile Application Using SWOT Analysis and Six Thinking Hats".
Meanwhile, two student groups won in the Undergraduate Research Competition. Marlon Rylan De Guzman, Jonn Louis Ordoñez, and Ronald Somocierra placed 3rd for their research paper, "Online Scheduling System for Doctors and Patients in a Hospital", while John Nicolo Cruz, Gabrielle Angelo Gabatin, and John Gerick Gabunilas bagged 1st place for their research paper, "SAFE: Smart Application for Emergency".
Both student groups were under the supervision of Ms. Gloren Fuentes.
