Master in Business Analytics Class kick off first of Special Topics in Business Analytics series
The first batch of Master in Business Analytics students kick started their first session of the Special Topics in Business Analytics (MAN210). Opening the series is Dr. James Sattler, who delved into Machine Learning and its context to Business Analytics. Dr. Sattler, whose vast experience in SAS analytics spans a career of over 30 years, is an expert in the field of analytics. His expertise has been gained in the government, pharmaceutical, banking and telecommunications industries. Some of his notable work involved clinical trials analysis for drug development in the pharmaceutical industry while he worked extensively in risk management and fraud detection for a large US Bank. In addition to being a consultant, Dr. Sattler is a trainer for SAS foundation courses in the Philippines, Singapore and the Middle East. Dr. Sattler was also previously a university lecturer for the University of California in the course of SAS programming, in which he designed the curriculum.
