The accreditation is proof that the academic programs are performing at the level required by the professions they serve. It is also proof of the Institute’s continuing commitment to provide quality education to its students as well as its commitment to continuous improvement of its programs.

The academic program, BS Computer Science, is granted Level II accreditation by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA), a private accrediting agency that gives formal recognition to an educational institution by attesting that its academic program maintains excellent standards in its educational operations, in the context of its aims and objectives.

CHED Center of Excellence
The Institute is declared by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as National Center of Excellence for Information Technology. As National Center of Excellence, the Institute’s academic program, BS Information Technology, are affirmed by CHED to have demonstrated high standards in the areas of classroom instruction, research, and extension service.

The academic programs, BS Computer Science, BS Information Systems and BS Information Technology, are accreditated by the Philippine Information and Computing Accreditation Board (PICAB), a consortium of the Computing Society of the Philippines (CSP), Philippines Software Industry Association (PSIA), Philippine Computer Society (PCS) and the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators Foundation, Inc. (PSITE). PICAB recognizes that there is mutual recognition agreement (MRA) of accredited academic computing programs that prepare graduates for professional practice called the Seoul Accord (“Accord”), the primary purpose of which is to contribute to the improvement of computing education worldwide.
